- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing)
- 1 tablespoon sea salt (for topping)
- Optional fresh herbs for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add the warm water and stir until the mixture is combined and sticky.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a baking pan inside to heat up.
- Once risen, pour olive oil onto a clean surface and transfer the dough onto it. Shape it gently without kneading.
- Stretched dough into the hot baking pan and let it rise for another 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle sea salt and optional herbs on top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow it to cool before slicing and serving.

- This focaccia pairs well with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping.
