Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the salted cod in water overnight to remove excess salt.
  2. Drain and flake the cod.
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, water, onion, green onions, black pepper, baking powder, and thyme.
  4. Add the flaked cod to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Scoop tablespoons of the mixture and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
