Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the whole wheat flour until just incorporated.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow muffins to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
