- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 ounces provolone cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onions and bell peppers until soft.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Slice the hoagie rolls open and layer with the ground beef mixture, crispy turkey bacon, and provolone cheese.
- Place the sandwiches under a broiler until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
