Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
- Fold in the heart-shaped sprinkles.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- For a fun variation, substitute almond extract for vanilla.
- Can use colored sugar instead of sprinkles for decoration.
