- 8 cups day-old bread, torn into pieces

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread pieces with milk and cream. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, whiskey, vanilla, and salt. Add to the bread mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for approximately 45-50 minutes, or until set and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
