  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla; mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add in the flour and cocoa powder, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set.
  8. While the cookies are cooling, heat the heavy cream until just simmering and pour it over the chocolate chips in a bowl.
  9. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth to make the ganache.
  10. Drizzle the ganache over the cooled cookies.

Notes

  • For a sweeter taste, add more sugar to the cookie dough.
  • Try using milk chocolate chips instead of dark for a different flavor.
