- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla; mix until well combined.
- Gradually add in the flour and cocoa powder, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set.
- While the cookies are cooling, heat the heavy cream until just simmering and pour it over the chocolate chips in a bowl.
- Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth to make the ganache.
- Drizzle the ganache over the cooled cookies.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, add more sugar to the cookie dough.
- Try using milk chocolate chips instead of dark for a different flavor.
