- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 rice paper wrappers
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Remove from heat and stir in Thai basil leaves.
- Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on each wrapper and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add chopped chili to the beef mixture.
- Experiment with vegetables for added crunch.
