- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Add the melted butter and mix well.
- Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add the baking soda and salt, then mix in the flour until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
- For an extra moist loaf, add a tablespoon of yogurt or sour cream.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
