Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the pureed strawberries, milk, melted butter, and egg.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter in half and fold matcha powder into one half.
  6. In a greased baking dish, layer the strawberry and matcha batters alternately.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing.
