- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together the pureed strawberries, milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Divide the batter in half and fold matcha powder into one half.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the strawberry and matcha batters alternately.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
- For an extra touch, drizzle with a strawberry glaze.
- These rolls can be served warm or cold.
