Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, matcha powder, and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead until a soft dough forms.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
- Roll out the dough, spread the chopped strawberries evenly over it, and roll it up tightly.
- Slice the rolled dough into sections and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Using fresh strawberries enhances the flavor, but frozen can work in a pinch.
- Drizzle with a vanilla glaze for added sweetness.
