Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the sushi rice and water, then bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until the rice is tender.
  5. In a bowl, mix the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onion.
  6. Once the rice is cooked, spread it evenly in a baking dish.
  7. Spoon the salmon mixture over the rice.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and top with nori strips before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sriracha to the salmon mixture.
  • This dish can be served with additional soy sauce for dipping.
