  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the green beans.
  2. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the onion and garlic in the bacon drippings until translucent.
  4. Add the diced chicken ham and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the green beans, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 30 minutes, until beans are tender.
  8. Before serving, crumble the cooked turkey bacon and stir it into the beans.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
