- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions and drain.
- In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked beef mixture and drained noodles to the sour cream mixture.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- This dish is easy to adjust for larger servings by doubling the ingredients.
- Feel free to add vegetables like peas or bell peppers for extra flavor.
