  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • pita bread for serving
  • tahini sauce for serving
  • fresh vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, spices, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and water to form a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and ensure they are well coated.
  3. Place the chicken in the slow cooker and pour any remaining marinade over it.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it in the sauce.
  6. Serve with pita bread, tahini sauce, and fresh vegetables.
