  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Stir in the flour and mix well. Gradually add heavy cream, stirring until thickened.
  4. Add shrimp, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the mixture into a pie crust. Cover with another pie crust and seal the edges.
  6. Cut slits for steam to escape. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use low-fat cream and reduce the bacon.
  • Feel free to use fresh vegetables instead of frozen.
