- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
- Stir in the flour and mix well. Gradually add heavy cream, stirring until thickened.
- Add shrimp, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into a pie crust. Cover with another pie crust and seal the edges.
- Cut slits for steam to escape. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use low-fat cream and reduce the bacon.
- Feel free to use fresh vegetables instead of frozen.
