  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup cabbage, chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package potsticker wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground pork, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
  2. Place a spoonful of the mixture onto each potsticker wrapper and fold over, sealing the edges.
  3. In a pot, heat the sesame oil and add the potstickers, frying until golden.
  4. Add chicken broth and soy sauce; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the soup to thicken.
  7. Serve hot garnished with additional green onions.

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute the pork with tofu or mushrooms.
