- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Roll out the crescent dough and spread the sausage mixture evenly on top.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese and green onions on top of the sausage.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and pepper evenly.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rounds.
- Place pinwheels on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add some diced jalapeños to the sausage mixture.
- These pinwheels can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
