- 1 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, and maple syrup until well blended.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
- Fold in the flour and sea salt until just combined.
- Stir in the pecans.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared dish.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is set and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a twist, try adding chocolate chips or dried fruit.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
