Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties.
  3. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add patties and cook until browned on both sides.
  4. Remove patties and set aside. In the same skillet, add beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then add to the broth. Stir until thickened.
  6. Add the patties back to the skillet, cover, and cook until heated through.
