Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sliced chicken and cook until browned.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well.
- Gradually add chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream and mustard. Add cooked turkey bacon back in.
- Season with salt and pepper. Cook on low heat for a few more minutes.
- Serve over egg noodles or rice.
Notes
- Add more broth if you prefer a thinner sauce.
- This recipe can be made ahead of time and reheated.
