  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands, soaked in 2 tablespoons warm water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the lamb, olive oil, cumin, paprika, grated onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and saffron water. Mix well to coat the lamb evenly.
  2. Cover and marinate the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers, making sure to leave space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
