- 4 pieces chicken thighs
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken thighs and sear until golden brown on both sides.
- In a bowl, mix honey and BBQ sauce, then pour over chicken.
- Add rice and chicken broth to the pan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Cook for 20-25 minutes until rice is tender.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken in honey BBQ sauce for a few hours before cooking.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the dish.
