- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 8 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces egg noodles
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Stir in the flour and cook for another minute.
- Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a simmer.
- Mix in the sour cream, then return the cooked turkey bacon to the skillet.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
- For a creamier sauce, add more sour cream.
- Use a mix of mushrooms for added flavor.
