Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the sliced flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook until browned.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds.
  4. Mix brown sugar, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a bowl and pour over the meat.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in the green onions and cook for another minute.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

  • For extra tenderness, slice the flank steak against the grain.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
