Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  5. While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the mushroom gravy. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, add the mushrooms, and cook until they are soft.
  6. Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and cook for another minute.
  7. Slowly whisk in the beef broth and bring to a simmer, cooking until thickened.
  8. Once the meatloaf is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with the mushroom gravy.
