- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups egg noodles, cooked
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Form into meatballs.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook meatballs until browned on all sides.
- Remove meatballs and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms until soft.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in sour cream and return meatballs to the skillet. Cook until heated through.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
- For extra richness, add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce.
- Serve with fresh parsley for garnish.
