- 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beer
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add beer gradually to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip each shrimp in batter and carefully place in hot oil.
- Fry shrimp for 3-4 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
