- 1 cup diced turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced chicken ham
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté the onion, carrots, and celery until softened.
- Add the garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add orzo pasta and cook for 7-9 minutes until al dente.
- Stir in the spinach, turkey bacon, and chicken ham. Cook until spinach is wilted.
- Season with salt and pepper, serve hot.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use homemade chicken broth.
- You can substitute other greens like kale if desired.
