Ingredients

- 2 cups kale, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup small pasta (e.g. acini di pepe)
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add onion and garlic to the pot, cooking until softened.
- Stir in carrots and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add chicken broth, kale, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in the pasta and cook according to package instructions.
- Once cooked, add the chicken ham and turkey bacon back into the pot. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- This soup can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- For added flavor, consider adding fresh herbs before serving.
