High Protein Creamy Taco Soup with Turkey Bacon and Chicken Ham

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same pot, add chicken ham and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream.
  6. Add the chopped turkey bacon back to the pot.
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes, then serve hot.

Notes

  • This soup can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Garnish with avocado or cheese for extra flavor.
