Hearty Spicy Southwestern Chili with Turkey Bacon and Chicken Ham

A delicious blend of turkey bacon and chicken ham with spices for a hearty chili.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy and remove from pot.
  2. Add the chicken ham and sauté until heated through.
  3. Stir in the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, and chicken broth.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Return the turkey bacon to the pot and combine well.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Add more spices for extra heat.
  • Serve with cornbread for a complete meal.
