- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, and blend well.
- In a separate bowl, mix the rolled oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
- For extra gooeyness, slightly underbake the cookies.
- These cookies are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for a few days in an airtight container.
