Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into muffins.
- Place the muffins on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Sprinkle minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and black pepper on top of the muffins.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add more herbs or cheese to the muffin batter.
