  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture, and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  7. Form small balls of dough and create a well in the center to fill with the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden.
  9. Let cool before serving.
