- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Combine the yeast mixture with the flour mixture. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into rolls. Place on a baking sheet.
- Brush the rolls with melted butter, garlic, and parsley mixture.
- Let rolls rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add more garlic to the butter mixture.
- Can be served warm with extra butter on the side.
