Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp brewed coffee
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp instant coffee granules

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, cocoa, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in the brewed coffee.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. For the frosting, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and instant coffee until smooth and spreadable.
  9. Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the amount of brewed coffee.
  • These brownies are best served chilled after frosting.
