- 2 cups orzo
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, cook the orzo in chicken broth until al dente.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked orzo, shredded chicken, French onion soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle some fresh herbs on top before serving.
