Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the espresso powder.
  4. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven.
  8. Let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
