Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves roasted garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, olive oil, garlic, and rosemary. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a baking stone or tray inside.
- Score the top of the loaf and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
- For a crustier loaf, add a pan of water to the oven while baking.
- Experiment with different herbs for unique flavors.
