- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 100 grams turkey bacon
- 200 grams chicken ham
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon saffron
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ cup peas
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the turkey bacon and chicken ham, and cook until browned.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the rice, followed by the chicken broth and saffron.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- In the last 5 minutes, add the peas.
- Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot.
Notes
- For additional flavor, consider adding seafood or vegetables.
- Let the paella rest for a few minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
