- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Add the baking soda and salt, and mix well.
- Stir in the sugar, then the flour until just combined.
- Fold in the walnuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
- Make sure your bananas are very ripe for the best flavor.
- You can substitute walnuts with chocolate chips or pecans if desired.
