- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
- Mix in the softened butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Stir in the baking soda and salt, then mix in the flour until just incorporated.
- Fold in the crumbled turkey bacon.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.

- For a richer flavor, consider adding chopped nuts.
- Ensure bananas are very ripe for the best sweetness.
