  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
  6. Add the baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm over pasta or on a sub roll.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, allow the meatballs to marinate in the sauce for a couple of hours before serving.
  • These meatballs freeze well, so make a double batch!
