- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Add the baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve warm over pasta or on a sub roll.
Notes
- For extra flavor, allow the meatballs to marinate in the sauce for a couple of hours before serving.
- These meatballs freeze well, so make a double batch!
