- 1 loaf crusty bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley until well combined.
- Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture generously on each half.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the garlic butter.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slightly broil for an extra 2 minutes for a golden top.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Italian herbs to the butter mixture.
- Serves best when fresh out of the oven.
