- 1 head cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup rice, cooked
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully remove the leaves from the head of cabbage and blanch them in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes until pliable.
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil until softened. Add the ground beef and turkey bacon, cooking until browned.
- Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf and roll tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Place the rolls seam side down in a baking dish and cover with tomato sauce.
- Bake for 45 minutes.

- For extra flavor, add herbs like oregano or basil to the meat mixture.
