Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add onions, garlic, and mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for another minute.
  5. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until smooth.
  7. Add the cooked beef and turkey bacon back to the skillet; season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve over cooked egg noodles.

Notes

  • For a healthier twist, you can use ground turkey instead of beef.
