- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add onions, garlic, and mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the flour and cook for another minute.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until smooth.
- Add the cooked beef and turkey bacon back to the skillet; season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
- For a healthier twist, you can use ground turkey instead of beef.
- Add some spinach for extra nutrition.
