- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and shred it.
- Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry and stir it into the sauce in the crockpot.
- Cook on high for 30 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot, mixing well with the sauce.
- Serve garnished with green onions.
Notes
- For a spicier variation, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables.
