Ingredients

- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 8 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, combine onion soup mix, beef broth, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the meat and slice it thinly.
- Return the meat to the crockpot to soak in the juices.
- Serve on hoagie rolls topped with provolone cheese.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sliced jalapenos or sautéed onions.
- Serve with a side of pickles or coleslaw for crunch.
