Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, combine onion soup mix, beef broth, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the roast.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  4. Remove the meat and slice it thinly.
  5. Return the meat to the crockpot to soak in the juices.
  6. Serve on hoagie rolls topped with provolone cheese.
