- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a crock pot, combine the diced potatoes, chopped turkey bacon, and diced onion.
- Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
- Once cooked, stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Use a potato masher or immersion blender to achieve desired consistency.
Notes
- For a thicker soup, mash some of the potatoes before adding the cream.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or corn for more flavor.
